Roof Protect

Drywired® Heat Shield: Roof Protect has met Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC) licensed seller requirements through test results conducted by approved CRRC laboratory RCMA Americas, Inc. Results have shown Drywired’s Roof Protect to exceed CRRC test standards. The average values for all initial tests were as follows: Solar Reflectance (SR) = 0.73, Thermal Emittance (TE) = 0.88, Solar Reflective Index (SRI) = 89.

Drywired’s Roof Protect is a cutting edge blend of technologies formulated to provide relief from the sun’s heat energy by deflecting the energy through a dual process of reflectivity and by radiating the infrared rays back into the atmosphere. This latter action is achieved through dense strengthening extenders and advanced pigments designed to radiate the invisible infrared light spectrum. The Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC)

The CRRC was created in 1998 to develop accurate and credible methods for evaluating and labeling the solar reflectance and thermal emittance (radiative properties) of roofing products and to disseminate the information to all interested parties. At the core of the CRRC is its Product Rating Program, in which manufacturers can label various roof surface products with radiative property values rated under a strict program administered by the CRRC.
