Drywired’s applied Liquid NanoTint to classroom windows at DeLaveaga Elementary School in Santa Cruz, California. The Director of facilities for Santa Cruz City Schools, Swinerton Construction, and MODI Architects were all in attendance. The classroom was equipped with old windows that directly faced the sun and heated the room quickly due to solar heat gain. The installation of Liquid NanoTint caused a sharp decline in temperature levels within the classroom due to a great reduction in solar heat gain. Along with the decline in temperature, the Liquid NanoTint will save the school money on energy because the air conditioning will be need to utilized less often.
